Drop Everything!

Drop Everything is a shoot I did last Winter with Jing-Jing at Graham Scott. As a non-photo major, I tried to learn everything I could about studio lighting and use all the facilities SCAD had. Unsurprisingly, there is not much in the painting department that is newer technology than the 1960s, when acrylic paint was invented. And before that, it’s basically in the Renaissance that originated the traditions and techniques used.

Jing-Jing is a photo major, with a tattoo that says “do more”. Originally from Nanjing, she learned English since starting at SCAD. I feel my lack of explainable difficulty in life as conspicuous when we work together. I anm not even sure why everything is so hard for me, I have every advantage. And yet… I can barely finish this website for some reason.

I don’t know why, but there is something about being able to make someone laugh that is the best feeling in the world to me. If not their respect, at least there is that.
